DESCRIPTION:You’re Invited: New Era of Youth Service Statewide Forum\nTriple C invites you to participate in a statewide virtual forum focused on strengthening youth service\, civic engagement\, and leadership across Ohio. \nMonday\, January 26\n2:00–4:30 PM\nVirtual (Zoom) \nRegister Here \n\nWhy This Event Matters\nAs the nation looks ahead to America’s 250th anniversary in 2026\, the need to engage young people in their communities has never been more urgent. Today\, only 1 in 4 young people regularly participate in volunteering\, service\, civic engagement\, or leadership—leaving millions without access to meaningful opportunities to contribute and lead. \nWith support from Youth Service America (YSA)\, Triple C is hosting a New Era of Youth Service in America Statewide Forum to bring together partners from across sectors to reflect\, learn\, and collaborate on solutions that expand youth participation. \n\nWhat to Expect\nThis interactive forum will provide space for learning\, discussion\, and collective visioning. Participants will: \n\nExplore the current state of youth service and common barriers to participation\nLearn from themes emerging through YSA’s national listening tour\nEnvision what a New Era of Youth Service could look like in Ohio\nIdentify strategies to double youth participation in service\, civic engagement\, and leadership\nDiscuss promising policy and systems-level approaches that support youth engagement\nConnect with peers and partners working across education\, nonprofit\, and public sectors\n\nThe forum is designed to elevate partner voices and ensure that local experiences help shape national strategy. \n\nWho Should Attend\nThis event is open to anyone who works with or on behalf of young people\, including: \n\nNonprofit and community-based organizations\nK–12 educators and school administrators\nHigher education faculty\, staff\, and students\nGovernment and public sector partners\nYouth-serving networks and coalitions\n\nPartners are encouraged to invite colleagues and youth leaders to attend. \nRegister Here
