Ohio Peace and Conflict Studies Network (OPCSN) Conference

The Ohio Peace and Conflict Studies Network (OPCSN) Conference is an annual gathering that brings together faculty, staff, students, and community partners from across Ohio to explore the intersections of peacebuilding, civic engagement, and democratic practice.

Co-hosted by the Community Campus Coalition (Triple C), the conference provides a collaborative space to share research, programs, and strategies that address conflict, strengthen democratic participation, and promote community-engaged approaches to peace and justice.

Through panels, interactive workshops, and opportunities for dialogue and networking, the OPCSN Conference supports learning across disciplines and sectors while highlighting innovative work taking place on campuses and in communities throughout the state.

Ohio Hunger Dialogues

Ohio Hunger Dialogues is an annual symposium that invites stakeholders interested in addressing hunger and food insecurity in and around Ohio to attend. This dynamic dialogue seeks to engage attendees in conversations to share knowledge and insights; and to collaborate on best practices and solutions around the systematic issues of hunger and food insecurity in Ohio communities.

Propel Ohio Collegiate Leadership Summit

Propel Ohio is a statewide student conference that empowers emerging leaders from Ohio’s colleges, universities, and career and technical schools.

Propel Ohio was launched in 2015 by former U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, rooted in his enduring commitment to civic engagement, equitable opportunity, and participatory democracy. From its very first summit in Columbus, the program has embodied Senator Brown’s belief that young people must be empowered to shape their communities and the future of Ohio.

Over the past decade, Propel Ohio has grown into a signature statewide leadership event, drawing students from colleges, universities, and career and technical schools to explore pressing issues, forge networks, and take action. Through keynote speakers, interactive workshops, and facilitated dialogue, Propel continues to reflect Senator Brown’s values: listening to diverse voices, bridging divides, and building institutions that uplift every Ohioan.

Today, Community Campus Coalition is honored to continue Senator Brown’s vision by leading Propel Ohio into its next decade. With gratitude for his leadership and the foundation he built, we remain committed to empowering emerging leaders, fostering dialogue, and strengthening civic engagement across Ohio’s campuses and communities.

The Big Table®

Launched in 2016, The Big Table® is a day dedicated to community-wide conversation. Through intentional dialogue and connection, participants are encouraged to imagine the next steps toward a kind and just future for all. The Columbus Foundation provides a Host Guidebook and materials for the conversation, but each host makes the discussion their own. Meeting new people, sharing our lived experiences, and actively listening are crucial steps toward building a kind, connected central Ohio region where everyone has a seat at the table.
