Community Campus Coalition’s members share a common commitment to their institutions to address community needs, integrate service efforts as a central part of undergraduate education, and work on regional and national levels to promote the following goals:
- to integrate the ethic of service across the institution, in facilitating, supporting, and rewarding participation,
- to encourage faculty efforts to connect service and academic study; and
- to foster an environment which stimulates students to move beyond service and engage in long-term problem resolution, through applying skills learned in the classroom.
