Communities Thriving
Through the IKONC partnership, the Communities Thriving initiative, a multi-state AmeriCorps VISTA program, was launched to focus on addressing community issues while strengthening campus-community partnerships. AmeriCorps VISTA members are placed on a campus and/or with a community partner to spend a year of service supporting communities and campuses to help address and eliminate issues that local communities are facing.
Communities Thriving exists with support from AmeriCorps.
Hunger Free Campus Coalition
The Hunger Free Campus Coalition unites campus and community partners committed to ending food insecurity and making Ohio a hunger-free state. Together, members share resources, highlight best practices, advance advocacy efforts, and host campus events that showcase impact and raise awareness with decision-makers to ensure students have reliable access to food.
We invite you to partner with Swipe Out Hunger and Community Campus Coalition to advocate for hunger-free campuses and stronger basic needs programming through the Hunger Free Campus Action Center.
If you or someone from your campus or organization is interested in joining the Hunger Free Campus Coalition, please sign up through the Interest Form and explore the Hunger Free Campus Action Center to take action or email admin@communitycampuscoalition.org to learn more.
The Hunger Free Campus Coalition is made possible through a partnership between Triple C and Swipe Out Hunger.

Community Campus Coalition (Triple C) launched the Student Resource Centers (SRC) initiative in 2019 as a way to support colleges and universities to better support students who are struggling with nonacademic needs.
A Student Resource Center is a place on campus where students can go to get connected to resources to help eliminate barriers they may be facing and that is impacting their ability to succeed academically, stay enrolled from one semester to the next, and ultimately earn a degree or credential. AmeriCorps members are placed on college and university campuses to create a new, enhance an existing SRC, and to directly serve students on campus.
SRC exists with support from ServeOhio.
