Save the Date: Propel Ohio 2026

Propel Ohio is back! Join us this fall for a dynamic day centered on student leadership, civic engagement, and community impact. Hosted at Bowling Green State University, this year’s convening will explore the theme America’s 250th, sparking meaningful dialogue and action across campuses and communities.

VISTA Opportunity at Marietta College
Marietta College is now recruiting for a 2026–2027 Community Engagement VISTA member in partnership with Triple C. This 12-month AmeriCorps position focuses on strengthening nonprofit partnerships, supporting student leaders, and deepening campus-community connections in Washington County.
With a living allowance, education award, and professional development included, this is a strong opportunity for those looking to build a career in service and civic engagement.
Now Recruiting: Host an AmeriCorps VISTA Member
Triple C is currently seeking Ohio campuses to host a Communities Thriving AmeriCorps VISTA member for the 2026–2027 service year. Placements begin in July 2026, and space is limited.
Hosting a VISTA member is a powerful way to expand your campus’s capacity for community engagement—interested campuses are encouraged to connect soon.

Triple C is proud to recognize the recipients of the David Hoch Memorial Award for Excellence in Service and the Charles J. Ping Student Service Award.
These awards honor outstanding leaders and students across Ohio who demonstrate a deep commitment to service-learning and civic engagement. This year’s cohort reflects the strength and impact of community-engaged work happening across our partner campuses.

- Engaged Faculty Institute: Register by May 11 for this flexible summer learning experience focused on community-engaged course design.
- TMA 2026 Conference: Proposals due June 8 for this October gathering in Washington, D.C.
- Pericles Civic Fellowship: $3,000 grants available; applications due May 11.
- Ohio AmeriCorps Grants: Funding applications due April 24.
