February is full of opportunities across the Triple C network — from recognizing campus changemakers to strengthening basic needs efforts and advancing civic engagement statewide.
2026 Ping & Hoch Awards – Nominations Open
It’s time to celebrate the students, faculty, and staff who are leading the way in service-learning and community engagement across our partner campuses. The 2026 Ping & Hoch Awards recognize the passion, leadership, and lasting impact happening every day in our communities.
Nominations are open now — but only through February 20. Help us honor the individuals strengthening campuses and building meaningful partnerships.
Now Hiring: Communities Thriving VISTA Leader
Triple C is recruiting a VISTA Leader to support our statewide Communities Thriving initiative, helping advance student basic needs efforts across Ohio. We’re also sharing an AmeriCorps VISTA opportunity at Mount St. Joseph University. If you’re an AmeriCorps or Peace Corps alum looking to grow your leadership, this could be the perfect next step.
Professional Development & Alliance Opportunities
This month we’re highlighting several upcoming learning opportunities for campus professionals and students:
- A free webinar from Partners for Campus-Community Engagement (PCCE) on measuring civic impact through data and storytelling (Feb. 25).
- The SEED Coalition’s Engaged Faculty Institute (EFI) Online, with a summer session beginning May 19 (registration due May 11).
- A Nonprofit VOTE webinar on how nonprofits can engage in voter outreach while remaining nonpartisan (Feb. 18).
- The Intercollegiate Civil Disagreement Partnership (ICDP), a national consortium led by the Janet Prindle Institute for Ethics, now accepting applications through April 1.
Strengthening Youth Service & Basic Needs Across Ohio
Triple C recently convened partners for Ohio’s New Era of Youth Service statewide forum, exploring strategies to expand youth civic engagement and leadership pathways. If you missed the event, resources are available on our website.
We’re also inviting campuses to partner with Triple C to raise funds for student basic needs through our centralized fundraising platform — at no cost. And don’t forget to join the Hunger Free Campus Coalition to advocate for stronger hunger relief efforts statewide.
